DESCRIPTION OF BIRD:
The male has black and white markings on the throat and an orange cheek patch. Both male and female have dark
red beaks, and the male has a slightly darker beak than the female.
ORIGIN:
The zebra finch is native to Australia and live in groups.
WHEN IS THE BIRD IN COLOR:
Zebra finches are in color all of the time.
BREEDING:
They use all types of nest boxes and usually keep building on their nests as long as material is available. Zebra
finches are aggressive, easy breeders and good parents.
DIET:
Their diet is seeds, greens, insects, and commercial eggs and soft foods.
