DESCRIPTION OF BIRD:
This bird, has three definitive colors. Their native habitat is grassland and cultivated areas and they are sometimes
found in large flocks. They need to be in pairs or groups.
HOW TO TELL MALE FROM FEMALE:
Both male and female are colored alike and are extremely strong, lively, and easy to keep.
ORIGIN:
They are native to India and Sri Lanka.
BREEDING:
It is hard to distinguish the sex, thus making it difficult to get a pair. Occasionally you will have birds that breed, but
not often.
DIET:
They consume seeds, greens, insects and commercial egg or soft foods.
